A 19-year-old pregnant woman escaped serious injury Sunday after she rolled her vehicle while turning onto State Road 201 in Salt Lake County.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers said the woman was turning left from Interstate 80 on SR-201 about 10 a.m. when she struck a barrier.

The woman overcorrected, causing her vehicle to roll, troopers said.

She suffered minor injuries, but was transported to an area hospital as a precaution after she told paramedics she was in early stages of a pregnancy.

The crash closed the roadways around the crash for about an hour.
