A multi-vehicle accident closed down three northbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Davis County early Monday afternoon.
A public safety dispatcher said few details were available about the crash, which was initially reported at 11:56 a.m., but it occurred near the Main Street exit of North Salt Lake.
No injuries were immediately reported.
While the scene was being cleared, the Utah Department of Transportation was allowing semi-trailer rigs to use the adjacent Legacy Highway, an arterial normally restricted to big rigs.
The accident scene had been cleared as of 1:30 p.m.
