Unified Police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who attempted to hold up a Midvale McDonald's restaurant at gunpoint.

On Friday, UPD Lt. Justin Hoyal released an image from a security camera captured during the Dec. 14 holdup at 425 W. 7200 South in hopes someone will recognize the robber, a white male, 20-25, thinly built, with a moustache, matching purple sweatshirt and stocking cap and an acid-washed style jacket.

The man was last seen driving a gray passenger car from the scene of the 2 a.m. robbery.

Hoyal said the man pulled up to the drive-through window, ordered food and then brandished a black handgun. He demanded cash, but when the clerk ran away from the window and out of sight, the man sped off.

UPD officers searched the area but could not locate him.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call UPD at 385-468-9820.
