Salt Lake City police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate a man suspected of robbing a bank on Thursday morning.

At about 10:27 a.m., a man entered the Brighton Bank at 1420 S. 300 West, and demanded cash. He was last seen on foot westbound on Hope Avenue (1405 South), police reported.

The suspect was described as a male, possibly Hispanic adult, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 135 pounds, slim build, wearing all black clothing and a black hat.

The police department asks anyone who may know the identity or location of the suspect to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting the keyword TIPSLCPD plus any relevant information to CRIMES 274637. Reference: case #13-195561.
