Nine injured in Wellington crash expected to fully recover
All nine people critically injured in a two-vehicle crash near Wellington were expected to make a full recovery, Utah Highway Patrol troopers said Sunday.
A Chevrolet truck was westbound on State Route 6 in Carbon County about 11 miles east of Wellington about 5:05 p.m. Saturday when one of the tires on the truck separated, the UHP reported.
The truck veered to the right, then back to the left into eastbound traffic, where it was T-boned by an oncoming Nissan Pathfinder.
The occupants in the truckÂ two adults and three children from Price Â and the occupants in the Pathfinder two adults and two children from New Mexico were all taken to a hospital initially in critical condition, the UHP reported.
