Nine people critically injured in two-car crash near Wellington
A two-vehicle crash on State Road 6 near Wellington left nine people critically injured Saturday, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:04 p.m., a Chevrolet truck was traveling westbound on SR 6 at mile marker 258 in Carbon County about 11 miles east of Wellington when one of the tires on the truck separated, the UHP reported.
The truck veered to the right, then back to the left into eastbound traffic, where it was T-boned by an oncoming Nissan Pathfinder.
The occupants in the truckÂ two adults and three children from Price Â were taken to a hospital in critical condition, the UHP reported.

The identities of the victims and updated conditions were not available late Saturday.
