Salt Lake City police want the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Monday afternoon credit union hold-up.

About 2:40 p.m., the suspect — described as a white adult male in his 40s, 5-foot-8, and wearing a brown shirt with stripes, trench coat, baseball cap, and sunglasses — entered Mountain America Credit Union at 735 S. State Street.

The man demanded and received cash and this fled the scene.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may also be sent by texting the keyword TIPSLCPD plus any relevant information to CRIMES 274637.
