A multi-vehicle crash on Redwood Road near 7200 South in West Jordan closed down northbound and some southbound lanes early Tuesday morning.

At least four vehicles were believed involved in the 6:20 a.m. accident, with two of them — a car and a pickup truck — having rolled, West Jordan police said.

Three people were taken to the hospital, but police said none had life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews did work for about an hour to free one of the drivers from the wreckage of the pickup.

The accident reportedly was triggered when a white car inexplicably crossed the center line, causing a collision with the truck that put both vehicles into a roll. Two other vehicles were involved in subsequent crashes.

Police said all lanes were restored to normal traffic flows by 8:30 a.m., after tow trucks complete removal of the wreckage.
