The girl was found submerged head-first in a five-gallon bucket just before 2 p.m. Thursday outside her home near 7100 West Bendixon Drive (2680 South).

Paramedics were able to resuscitate the girl, who was taken to Pioneer Valley Hospital and then flown to Primary Children’s.

Circumstances of the incident remained under investigation on Friday.
