First Published Nov 05 2013 06:26 pm • Last Updated Nov 06 2013 03:29 pm

Malcolm Gladwell spoke to a capacity crowd at Abravanel Hall Tuesday night, kicking off the inaugural Sam Rich Lecture Series hosted by the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah. He spoke with Tribune reporter Jennifer Napier-Pearce about his new book, "David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants," and why he chose the ancient story of David’s battle with Goliath as a vehicle for conveying his ideas.
