Video: Baby seal struggles against life’s relentless brutality
First Published Oct 28 2013 11:07 am • Last Updated Oct 28 2013 11:07 am

Life can be harsh: we are alone, we don’t know what to do and in the winter, it’s rather chilly.

In the video above, a lonely baby seal struggles against these universal obstacles, trying to find its way in vast and icy emptiness. Clearly, this seal is a metaphor for the human experience.

The video includes no other information or context. We don’t where this is, or if the seal ever succeeds. We don’t know the how or the why of what is going on.

All we know is this: the seal finally lays its head down and cries, the weeping of other seals piercing the arctic air.
