It was hard to say who won a Tuesday night argument in Orem that shaped up like a bad real-life rerun of the old MTV show "Yo Momma."
In the old MTV show, contestants throw good-natured insults at each other. In Orem's version, it was all too personal.
In one corner sat the on-again, off-again Provo boyfriend of two months.
In the other, the Orem girlfriend who met at the man's request in hopes of working through their problems.
Let the duel begin.
"Your aunt's butt is bigger than JLo's," the man yells at his probably soon-to-be really ex-ex-girlfriend, in a reference to singer Jennifer Lopez.
The woman fires back: "Well your mom is fat and rude."
The two started to shove each other before the man allegedly grabbed the woman's iPhone and smashed it, said Orem police Lt. Craig Martinez.
Martinez said the man was cited for criminal mischief for breaking the phone.
But nobody was physically injured during the duel of insults.
