Ogden police have identified the 20-year-old woman who died Friday evening after a car accident.

Police found Breyla Parker in a black Mazda 3 that went off the road at 3463 Airport Road and sustained "heavy damage," according to a news release. Two other people, the 24-year-old male driver and a 20-year-old woman, were found near the vehicle.

Police believe the Mazda was headed north on the road when the driver lost control on a curve, went off the roadway and struck a parked trailer.

After the accident, Parker was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated from the car, but she died from her injuries, according to police. The driver was taken to a local hospital with a possible broken leg.

Neither the driver nor the other passenger were identified by police. Police believe speed and alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
