Happy Friday. The House stenographer who stole the microphone on Wednesday for a religious rant during the end-the-shutdown vote said that God kept waking her up and preparing her to deliver a message. Her husband says she's been evaluated by a psychiatrist. [HuffPost]

Topping the news: Sen. Mike Lee raised over $249,000 last quarter, but spent nearly all of it fundraising. Lee aggressively raised money off his attempt to halt funding for Obamacare, sending 13 emails in three months. [Trib]

-> The Utah Senate did not approve of Gov. Gary Herbert's nominee Catherine Conklin to serve as a 2nd District judge, and in fact they refused to take a vote. [Trib]

-> UDOT is planning to make things better for bicyclists and pedestrians by working with communities to build safer trails and sidewalks. [Trib]
