UHP: Pedestrian hit and killed in Provo Canyon accident

A pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a car Tuesday night in Provo Canyon.

The accident occurred on State Road 189 near Vivian Park, the Utah Highway Patrol reported. Troopers were arriving at the scene about 9 p.m.
