Looking back at major news stories under past editors of The Salt Lake Tribune

(Jeremy Harmon | The Salt Lake Tribune) Tribune Editor Nancy Conway talks about today's announcement of a reorganization at the paper on Thursday, September 12, 2013. 19 employees were laid off today. Conway, and editorial page editor Vern Anderson will retire at the end of the month.

We looked at big stories for Utah covered by The Salt Lake Tribune under the past four editors going back to 1950. Those editors — Nancy Conway, Jay Shelledy, Will Fehr and Arthur C. Deck — were at the helm for major news events and big changes at the paper.
