He approached a store clerk, showed a pistol and demanded money. The clerk handed the man an unspecified amount of cash from the register.

The robber fled in a blue passenger car, according to Box Elder Chief Deputy Kevin Potter.

The robber is described as a clean-shaven Hispanic male with shaggy brown hair, approximately 25 to 35 years old. He was dressed in black shirt and blue jeans.

The Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office and the Utah Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
