Hundreds of local breast cancer survivors, volunteers, businesses and community members walked to fight breast cancer Saturday at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer five-mile walk at Liberty Park.

This event raises funds for breast cancer research and support programs and services people with the disease. Salt Lake City's walk is one of nearly 300 events being held across the country this year.
