Construction work on the tunnel at Zion National Park closed down State Route 9 through southern Utah's Zion National Park to oversized vehicles.

The Utah Department of Transportation said Monday that the restrictions apply to vehicles exceeding 7 feet 10 inches wide and 11 feet 4 inches tall.

Such big rigs are advised to instead use alternate routes such as SR 14 or SR 20 until further notice.
