Volunteers from Rocky Mountain Power and Tree Inc. joined TreeUtah to plant nine large oak trees at Wheeler Farm in Murray Thursday, September 26, 2013. Over several days TreeUtah and community partners will combine to plant more than 40 trees that will line the footpath at the farm. The planting also aided TreeUtah in continuing its work toward helping Salt Lake County reach its goal of planting a million trees through the "One Million Trees for One Million People" program. The program's mission is to plant a million trees by 2017 and is about half way toward reaching its goal.
