Unified police have identified a suspected bank robber they have been looking for since Saturday, and they want the public's help to find him.

At 1:34 p.m., police say Mark Bolinder went to the Chase Bank at 6275 S. Highland Drive in Holladay and presented a teller with a note that indicated he wanted money. He also threatened that he had a firearm, according to a news release.

He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen driving away in a maroon Honda Accord, according to UPD.

Though no one in the bank was hurt during the robbery, police caution that he is considered armed and dangerous.

Salt Lake City police believe the same man robbed a Zions Bank at 1635 S. Redwood Road (1700 West), at about 10:30 a.m. Monday, just as Unified police were identifying Bolinder as their suspect.

"We believe there is a strong possibility that it's the same individual," said Salt Lake City police Detective Rick Wall. The two agencies are working together, he said.

UPD had previously released the suspect's photo and physical description in hopes that someone would recognize him.

Anyone who knows of Bolinder's whereabouts are asked to call the UPD at 801-743-5950.
