If you needed reminding that it is still technically summer, Utah's hot and humid weekend forecast should do it.
Northern Utah looked for high temperatures in the low- to mid-90s Saturday, along with afternoon and evening thunderstorms and rain showers — a climatological doppelganger of Friday's forecast.
Clone that same forecast, while boosting daytime highs about 5 degrees, and you have the weather menu set for southern Utah as well.
The Utah Division of Air Quality graded the state's breathing conditions in the "Green," or healthy zone through the weekend.
However, the Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website had some truly dismal news for allergy sufferers: chenopods, grass, sagebrush and ragweed were all "very high" and mold was "high" on the pollen index.
Salt Lake City's high temperature for Saturday is set at 92 degrees, down 2 degrees from Friday's forecast; Ogden looked for 87 and 90 degrees; Provo 89 and 91; Logan 86 and 89; Wendover 84 and 87; Duchesne 83 and 85; Cedar City 81 and 85; St. George 94 and 99; and Moab 97 and 96 degrees.
