It has been about five months and still no one has claimed thousands of dollars that someone found on the side of the road.
In late April, a citizen was driving through Midvale and saw a package in the road, stopped to inspect it and found it was full of cash, according to the Unified Police Department. The citizen retrieved the money and called the police.
Police are not disclosing how much money was in the package, but it numbers in the thousands.
So far, no one has come forward to claim it. If whoever lost the money can describe the package, the exact place it was lost and how much money was inside, they can call Unified police at 801-743-5818.
