Weber County sheriff's deputies early Tuesday found four children reported missing overnight by their mother.

Sheriff's Lt. Mark Lowther said the children — ages 12, 11, 8 and 4 — were last seen by their mother 8:30 p.m. Monday at their apartment complex, 1045 S. 1200 West in the Marriott-Slaterville City area.

"Mom left for short time last night [and the] kids were gone when she came back," Lowther said.

About 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, deputies located the children — Mondo Balli, 12; Alias Balli, 11; Alyssa Balli, 8; and Oscar Munoz, 4 — with their grandmother in nearby Washington Terrace.

The circumstances of the children leaving their home were not immediately known, but they were all safe and well as back with their mother.
