Police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian accident near 24th Street and A Avenue in Ogden.
Ogden police Lt. Danielle Croyle said Edward Alan Koyen, 28, was crossing the street southbound toward a waiting vehicle when he was struck by an eastbound white 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix at 3:05 a.m. Thursday.
The driver, a 54-year-old Ogden man, stopped immediately and rendered assistance as Ogden police and paramedics arrived, Croyle said.
Koyen was rushed to McKay-Dee Hospital Center but was declared dead a short time later.
No citations were issued, but the accident remains under investigation.
