Police are looking for a knife-wielding man who robbed the Gamestop store in southeast Salt Lake City Monday evening.

Detectives say the suspect, described as about 25 years old, 6-foot-1, heavy in build with a full beard, was wearing jeans, a black shirt, a purple hat and carrying a brown laptop computer bag when he walked into the store at 2263 S. Highland Drive about 9 p.m.

The suspect then approached the counter and threatened clerks with the knife as he demanded and received an unspecified amount of money.

He fled the store on foot.
