An early morning fire heavily damaged a vacant home in North Logan Monday. No injuries were reported.

The Herald Journal reported that the cause of the 3:13 a.m. blaze at 1609 N. 1000 East was under investigation.

Deputy Fire Chief Craig Humphreys estimated damage to the two-story house at about $175,000.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
