Centerville police said they found a 2-to-3 year old toddler wandering unattended Tuesday afternoon but officers were able to locate and reunite him with his family a short time later.

This child is not to be confused with a toddler the same age found on a street in Cottonwood Heights Tuesday morning, since reunited with his babysitters.

Centerville police dispatchers say their wandering child was found alone in the area of 400 West and 830 North about 12:30 p.m. However, by 1:15 p.m., the boy's family was contacted and the child returned home.
