A $5,000 reward is being offered by the Utah County Sheriff's Office for information that helps investigators solve the mystery of a 17-year-old Spanish Fork boy's weekend death.

On Saturday, the body of Nathan Tyler Haun was found on the Arrowhead Trail road, roughly between Payson and Salem. Investigators say evidence indicates the teen was hit by a vehicle.

Haun is believed to have attended two house parties Friday night, but potential witnesses in the case have not cooperated with detectives, said Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon.

It is thought that Haun was struck by a pickup truck or SUV sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Anyone who has information on this case is asked to call the Utah County Sheriff's Office at 801-404-1912.
