Aircraft reportedly crashes at Hurricane airport

The report of a plane crash at the Hurricane airport Wednesday afternoon led to the deployment of a medical helicopter.

A Washington County dispatcher described the accident as an "aircraft incident" that happened at about 4:44 p.m. The dispatcher said a Life Flight helicopter had been dispatched to the scene, though she didn’t have information about potential victims or injuries.

The accident reportedly was not causing any road closures or delays at the small, municipal airport.
