West Salt Lake City home, car vandal sought

Salt Lake City police are asking for the public’s help in bringing to justice a home and vehicle vandal.

Police Det. Veronica Montoya released images captured from a residential security camera on Friday that showed the male suspect wanted in a series of incidents between June 1 and June 21.

In all, the suspect — described as a white male, wearing a bandana, sunglasses and a knit hat and with a tattoo on his upper right arm — is sought for damage inflicted in the west Salt Lake City Glendale area.

In one case, he used a hammer to smash a security camera.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call 801- 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting TIPSLCPD plus information to 274637.
