Good weather and popular acts added up to great attendance at Utah Arts Festival, the annual four-day event that closed on Sunday. Executive Director Lisa Sewell said although no numbers were available, the festival's accountant reported that "this is the biggest box office I've ever seen."

Normal attendance at the event in recent years is 80,000 to 85,000 people, and Sewell said she expected it to be in that range this year. "This was just one of those years when everything came together so great," said Sewell, who has been head of the event for seven years.
