Salt Lake County police and fire authorities responded to upper Corner Canyon near Draper on Friday morning after a 65-year-old man fell from his bike.

The man was unresponsive according to others who were in the area and called 911 at 10:42 a.m., said Unified Fire Authority Capt. Clint Mecham.

Mecham said people at the scene had reported performing CPR on the man, who appeared to be taking some breaths but apparently had no pulse.

A helicopter initially had been called, but was cancelled as of about 11:30 a.m., Mecham said.
