Firefighters expected to contain a 40-acre wildfire near Tooele by Monday morning.
The Flood Canyon Fire, named after the canyon it's burning in, is a few miles northeast of Tooele. The blaze started in the flats near the canyon about 4:25 p.m. before working its way east and uphill, said LJ Brown of the Bureau of Land Management.
About 30 firefighters, with the help of an air tanker that dropped a load of retardant, and expected to have it fully contained early Monday. Down canyon winds are pushing the fire on itself, which is helping firefighters corral it, said Tooele County Fire Warden Tom Wilson.
There is a downed power line in the area of the fire, but investigators haven't concluded that it sparked the blaze, Wilson said.

Lightning caused a fire in Flood Canyon last summer. The blaze burned 720 acres.
