Police have arrested a man they believed robbed five businesses across the Salt Lake Valley in the past week.

Salt Lake City Police and Unified Police had been looking for the alleged robber since May 31, when a Subway restaurant at 1314 S. Foothill Dr. was hit.

SLCPD arrested the 29-year-old suspect and booked him into jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery. Other police agencies throughout the valley are also expected to book the man on additional crimes.

Other locations the man is suspected to have robbed are a laundromat in Taylorsville, another Subway in Salt Lake and two Dollar Tree locations in Salt Lake and Magna. He also is believed to have targeted businesses in Davis County.

Bountiful Police, North Salt Lake Police, Clearfield Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Safe Streets Task Force also were tracking the man's alleged robberies.
