Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Brigham City Council • Will hear a presentation from Mayor Pro-Tem Tyler Vincent on the fiscal 2014 budget, which includes a 15 percent transfer from Public Utility Fund to the General Fund and a transfer from the Utility Fund to the Emergency Disaster-Capital Project Fund, and will take public comment. Holladay Planning Commission • Will review the Highland Drive Citizen Committee recommendations to amend the general plan. Murray City Council • During a 4:30 p.m. work session in room 107, will receive information about selection of the Canal Task Force Committee, the Community Covenant Program of the Utah Army National Guard, land-use issues and business fees; a 6:30 p.m. meeting follows in Council chambers where the proposed fiscal 2014 budgets — including the Library Fund — will be presented, with opportunity for the public to comment; Tuesday, June 4, City Center at 5025 S. West Jordan Planning Commission session with City Council • On Tuesday, June 4, at 6 p.m. the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Echo Ridge Subdivision Phase 4, followed by a 6:30 p.m. session with the City Council where they hear a presentation by the Jordan School District regarding high-density residential land use, 3rd floor chambers, City Hall, 8000 S.
