Salt Lake City police: Have you seen this bank robber?

Police have released security camera images as they seek public assistance in bringing a bank robber to justice.

About 2 p.m. Monday, a white male entered the Chase Bank branch at 290 S. 1300 East, passed a note to a teller demanding cash and then fled on foot after receiving an unspecified amount of money.

No weapon was reported seen, and the 5-foot-10, 200-pound suspect was last seen heading westbound. He was wearing a baseball cap and a sweatshirt emblazoned with the words "Metro Mix" on the chest.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information on this case is asked to contact the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting TIPSLCPD plus information to CRIMES 274637.
