Two of six people hurt in a pair of head-on collisions in Utah County over the weekend remained hospitalized Monday.

Saratoga Springs police spokesman Owen Jackson said both the male drivers of a minivan and pickup truck that crashed when the pickup crossed over the center line on Highway 73 Saturday night were in serious condition.

Police said the two vehicles collided near 1200 West, about 2 miles west of the Saratoga Springs Crossroads intersection. The pickup was westbound and the minivan eastbound when they crashed; the minivan rolled, ejecting its driver.

The pickup then struck an SUV. The young boy, the male driver and a female passenger had all been released from the hospital as of Monday, Jackson said.

Also released from the hospital was a female passenger from the minivan.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
