Police are on the lookout for an armed man who robbed a Salt Lake City bank of an undisclosed amount of cash on Friday.

The Salt Lake City Police Department said a masked man walked into a Chase Bank branch on 1295 S. Redwood Road about 12:40 p.m., and demanded money from a teller.

The man then left eastbound on foot after the robbery. No one was injured, police said.

The robber was described as a black man with a slender, athletic build. He's about 6 feet tall and was wearing a dark, hooded jacket, black pants, a face mask and white shoes. Police did not specify what weapon the man used during the robbery.
