Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Centerville City Council • Will consider adopting a tentative fiscal 2014 budget and will discuss a Davis County proposal for a vote-by-mail option for municipal elections; Tuesday, May 7, 7 p.m., 250 N. Main St., Centerville. View the Centerville agenda.

Draper City Council • Will hold a public hearing regarding a tentative 2013-14 budget and land-use issues. Tuesday, 7 p.m., 1020 E. Pioneer Road, Draper. View the Draper agenda.

Farmington City Council • Will hold public hearings on miscellaneous amendments to the zoning, subdivisions and sign ordinances and on an update to the trails master plan; Tuesday, May 7, 7 p.m., 160 S. Main, Farmington. View the Farmington agenda.

Holladay City Council • Will hold public hearing to consider deleting language regarding assisted living facilities from the city's group home ordinance; Thursday, May 9, 6 p.m., Council Chambers of Municipal Center, 4580 S. 2300 East, Holladay. View the Holladay City Council agenda.

Holladay Planning Commission • Will take public comment, discuss and possibly approve the preliminary site plan for a 138-bed assisted living facility at 5600 South and Highland Drive, will also consider proposed residential office zone; Tuesday, May 7, 7 p.m., Council Chambers of Municipal Center, 4580 S. 2300 East, Holladay. Kaysville City Council • Will hold a public hearing on proposed impact fees for culinary water, parks, police, power and transportation services; Tuesday, May 7, 6 p.m., 23 E. Center St., Kaysville. Murray City Council • Will hold a public hearing to consider property at 5918 S. 700 West surplus and to consider an ordinance that would change its land use from agricultural to low-density single-family, will also take public comment concerning change in land use for property at 359 S. 900 East from low-density single-family to residential business; Tuesday, May 7, 6:30 p.m., Council Chambers of Murray City Center, 5025 S. North Salt Lake City Council • Will consider adoption of a tentative fiscal 2014 budget, and consider an ordinance rezoning property at approximately 900 N. Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation • Will hold an open house to get ideas from residents about plans for Lodestone Regional Park at approximately 6170 W. Lodestone Ave. (5990 South); Tuesday, May 7, Thomas Jefferson Junior High School, 5850 S. 5600 West, Kearns.
