How happy will Utahns be with the spring forecast ahead for this weekend?

As happy as Tiny Tim would be tip-toeing through the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point.

The Wasatch Front will be basking in temperatures ranging into the mid- to upper-60s Friday, mirroring Thursday’s forecast. Denizens of the region also can anticipate with glee sunny skies with no rain on the horizon.

Go further south, into Utah’s Dixie, and it is definitely time to store away the sweaters and wool slacks in favor of shirtsleeves, shorts and sunblock lotion. Temperatures were to climb into the low- to mid-80s, under sunny skies.

If you do journey to Thanksgiving Point, or any other outdoors activity, don’t be afraid to breathe deeply. The Utah Division of Air Quality rates the entire state as worthy of "Green," or healthy breathing conditions through the weekend.

Salt Lake City’s high temperature for Friday was to hit 68, up a couple degrees from Thursday’s forecast; Ogden 67 and 64 degrees, respectively; Provo 70 and 67; Logan 67 and 64; Wendover 71 and 68; Duchesne 69 and 64; Cedar City 68s; St. George 85 and 83; and Moab 73 degrees both days.
