Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Bluffdale Planning Commission • Will consider a conditional use permit for the sale of Holland Lop bunnies from a single residence home, site plans for townhouses on Heritage Crest Way, and final subdivision plans for Independence at the Point. Cottonwood Heights Planning Commission • Will hold two public hearings, one to consider a conditional use permit for a dentist office at 6800 S. Layton City Council • Will hold public hearings on a proposal to amend the General Plan from Commercial to High Density Residential over 16 units per acre, and rezone 0.96 acre from "C-H" (Highway Regional Commercial) to "RM-2 PRUD" (Medium Density Residential Planned Residential Unit Development). at approximately 1425 N. Main St. and on a proposed amendment adding Animal Clinic or Pet Hospital as a conditional use in the "CP-1" (Planned Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district; Thursday, April 18, 7 p.m., 437 N. Murray City Council • In a 4:45 p.m. work session in conference room 107, members will discuss Utah Telecommunications Open Infrastructure Agency (UTOPIA), followed by its regular council session at 6:30 where Community Development Block Grants could be modified.
