A woman was in serious condition Friday, the day after she was struck by a car in downtown Salt Lake City.
Salt Lake City police said the 58-year-old woman was hit while crossing the intersection of 900 South and West Temple against the light just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The woman was transported to the hospital in critical condition but was reported to have been upgraded on Friday. She was expected to survive, police said.
The driver of the car that hit the woman was not cited.
