A young girl remained in critical condition Friday, the day after she and two adults were injured in a head-on collision on State Road 198 in Utah County.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said a Chevrolet van driven by Aaron Moorman, 33, of Springville, was southbound when it crossed the center line about 8:10 a.m. Thursday and plowed into a Nissan Maxima driven by Lindsay Dyches, 36, of Utah County.

Moorman, who was cited for driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and Dyches were transported by ground ambulance to a hospital, where they remained in serious condition Friday.
Dyches’ 7-year-old daughter, Presley Dyches, was flown to Provo Regional Medical Center, where she remained in critical condition Friday. Her vital signs had been stabilized.
Moorman has been convicted of at least 15 traffic violations since 2000, including open container in a vehicle, speeding and driving on a suspended license, according to a search of court records.
