Police early Wednesday arrested the last of three suspects in armed robbery at the Quality Inn near Salt Lake City International Airport.

The third of three suspects sought in the Tuesday night holdup inside a room at the motel was nabbed about 1:30 a.m. when more than a dozen officers reportedly converged on an apartment complex near 200 E. 800 South.

Salt Lake City police Det. Dennis McGowan said all three suspects were females, one of them a juvenile. The two other women were located and arrested late Tuesday.

Police say the genesis of the robbery was an Internet-arranged meeting between one of the women and male guest at the motel.

Soon after the two met in the room, the other suspects, at least one of them brandishing a handgun, reportedly entered the room. The man was robbed of cash and personal property and struck at least once on the head.

A 32-year-old woman and a second female, 18, were booked into Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery. The minor was transported to a juvenile detention facility pending court proceedings.
