Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker and Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams signed an interlocal agreement Tuesday detailing the city’s and county’s partnership in the new $110 million downtown theater.
The 2,500-seat Utah Performing Arts Center in the 100 South block of Main Street will be co-owned by the city and county and operated by the county’s Center for the Arts, which also owns and operates Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre and Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
