Salt Lake City police were searching for a knife-wielding robber who held up a west-side convenience story early Monday morning.
The suspect, described as a 5-foot-6, 170-pound white male in his 20s, wearing a dark ski mask and brown hooded sweatshirt, walked into the 7-Eleven at 1353 W. Indiana Ave. (850 South) about 1 a.m. He threatened the clerk with a knife, took money from the cash register and then fled the store on foot.
