Four men injured in a head-on crash Thursday on State Road 111 in West Valley City remained hospitalized on Friday, with two men in critical condition and two in serious condition.
West Valley police Sgt. Jason Hauer said investigators suspect the driver of a northbound PT Cruiser may have been suffering from a medical problem related to his diabetes when he swerved into oncoming southbound traffic about 5 p.m. Thursday near 4700 South.

The PT Cruiser collided with a pickup truck. The 40-year-old driver and a 54-year-old male passenger in the PT Cruiser were flown by medical helicopter to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, where they were listed in critical condition. Police said Friday night that the men are expected to survive.
The pickup driver, 29, and a male passenger, 20, were taken by ground ambulance to IMC in serious condition.
Hauer said all four victims were expected to survive. He did not release their names.
The driver of the PT Cruiser was issued a citation for driving left of center.
