An Ogden man found with multiple stab wounds early Tuesday in a senior center hallway is expected to survive.
Ogden police Lt. Chad Ledford confirmed that the bloodied 24-year-old man was found about 6 a.m. at St. Benedict’s Manor apartments near 3000 Polk Ave.

The man was in serious condition with wounds to his chest, back, arm and hand.
Ledford said the man claimed he had attended a party in one of the assisted-living complex’s rooms overnight and was attacked by several people at the party.
However, while the man was conscious and talking with police, Ledford characterized him as "less than cooperative" about other details of the incident.
What police do know is that residents of the center made multiple 911 calls reporting a man running through the hallways pounding on doors. They thought he was an intruder, Ledford said.
The victim, meanwhile, pulled a fire alarm, later telling police no one would help him otherwise.
After residents evacuated, police and firefighters found the victim in a hallway and rushed him to McKay-Dee Hospital Center.
Ledford said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
