A 31-year-old Hurricane man who allegedly shot at another man in a trailer park in November was found incompetent to stand trial for attempted murder.
Craig Manwill Bennett Jr., is charged in 5th District Court with one count of first-degree felony attempted murder. Last week, 5th District Judge Eric Ludlow ordered the man to the Utah State Hospital after several experts deemed him incompetent.

Bennett has been held in the Washington County Jail since he was arrested after the November shooting.
Court documents state that Bennett approached the victim just before 8 p.m. on Nov. 28 and made several threats.
Bennett obtained a shotgun and shot the other man, who suffered several wounds, court documents state.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple shots and also saw Bennett "attempting to get back into the victim’s home using a shotgun," court documents say.
Police found the victim inside his trailer.
